Welcome to Oak Forest Academy
From the Administrator & High School Principal
Oak Forest Academy is known for its success in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. The administration, faculty, and staff at OFA have a constant focus on providing the best educational opportunity for our students. Our teachers at OFA are passionate about educating our students and come to work excited to work in such a supportive, family-friendly environment.
A positive school experience is imperative to the overall health and success of a child. At OFA, we strive to provide opportunities for students that will both challenge and support them through the development of knowledge that will directly impact their success now and later in life.
Thank you for visiting our website; and I encourage you to visit our campus, meet the PFA family, and experience excellence first hand.

From the Guidance Counselor
Welcome to Oak Forest Academy! I have been blessed to be a part of the OFA family for the past three years, first as a high school teacher, and now counselor. Before coming to Amite, I lived in various places around the country and worked as a social worker for over fifteen years before switching careers and obtaining teacher certification. I am here to help make sure students’ needs are met academically, socially, and emotionally. I am here to assist with college and career planning and hold special events during the school year to help with this process. My goal is for our students to be successful here at OFA, but also be prepared to enter the world upon graduation. I am here for all students as well as parents who may have questions regarding the success of their student. Feel free to reach out at any time!
